Our Memberships Are Determined by the Body Class as Defined by the NHTSA.
Use this helpful VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) lookup tool directly on the National Highway Traffic Safety Association website. In the first section at the bottom there is a category labeled Body Class. Use this Body Class to determine your Green Drop membership.

Terms & Conditions
EV Care Use
Annual commitment
The EV Care membership is a minimum 12-month commitment, billed automatically monthly. Memberships automatically renew for another one-year term on the anniversary of the membership sign-up. One car per membership.
A EV Care membership is linked to an individual car. Customers can establish as many memberships as they choose with each membership dedicated to an individual car.
Transfers between cars are allowed with proof of sale or loss. We reserve the right to limit transfers to one transfer per annual period. Unfortunately, if a vehicle is totaled or sold, we cannot change the original terms agreed upon at the time of EV Care registration. Please contact us about options.
Want to cancel early?
You can cancel your membership at any time. We simply ask that you pay the difference between the membership discounts received and the amount paid in membership dues.
Examples: If $75 in dues have been collected but $100 in services have been discounted under the membership, the cost to cancel early is $25. If $90 in dues have been collected and $80 in services have been discounted, there is no cost to cancel early.
Abuse of Membership
Any abuse of the EV Care membership, as determined by Green Drop Garage, will result in cancellation of membership. The EV Care membership is not available for commercial use vehicles, such as Lyft, ridesharing, meal delivery, or other business use; using the EV Care membership for a commercial-use vehicle is considered abuse. For commercial use vehicles, please see our Business Car Care or Business Truck+SUV Care plan. Non-payment would be considered abuse of plan. Accounts older than 45 days may be closed, and if a balance is due, may be eligible for collections. Transferring to vehicles not owned by your household is considered abuse of membership.
Exclusions
Due to their design, certain vehicle makes require higher shop labor rates for oil changes and other basic maintenance. Exclusions to any Care program include Land Rovers, high-performance makes like Massarati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, and vehicles with heavy modifications.
Heavy duty vehicles above Ford 450 and Chevy 4500 are excluded except for the Fleet Care program. The Fleet Care program requires a minimum of 3 vehicles.
OBD-II Port
Green Drop memberships are not designed for vehicles without an OBD-II Port. In general, this applies to all vehicles older than 1996.
EV Care Services
We encourage you to come in for your car’s first visit as soon as your membership is active. The EV Care membership visit is available to all active members and covers all basic maintenance for personal-use vehicles.
Basic maintenance: what to expect
All basic maintenance services are performed at Green Drop’s discretion and are based on manufacturer specifications and backed by our good judgment. We do not recommend any unnecessary maintenance.
Services included in the Car Care membership:
- Wiper blade* replacement
- Tire rotation
Engine air filter replacement - Top off any fluids
- Replace any burned out bulbs** or fuses
- Safety inspection
- Trouble code scans
*Specialty wipers
Most windshield wipers are covered in the EV Care membership (limit $30 value).
**Specialty bulbs
Most exterior light bulbs are covered in the EV Care membership (limit $30 value). However, specialty bulbs and extra labor require additional payment.
Preliminary diagnostics
While advanced diagnostics lasting longer than 15 minutes are not covered under the Car Care membership, a preliminary 15-minute or less diagnostic is included in the Car Care membership. Advanced diagnostics require additional payment (diagnostics lasting longer than 15-minutes).
Tire discounts
For vehicles covered under a membership: Receive a $10 discount on every tire purchased when mounted and balanced.
Loaner vehicles
While we make every effort to provide a “loaner” vehicle at the time of drop-off, the availability of a loaner vehicle cannot be guaranteed at a specific time or location.
