Green Drop Garage
Honest, Eco-Friendly Car Care Since 2009
Green Drop Garage is a family-owned, full-service auto repair shop with seven locations across the Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA areas. It started in 2009 with our founder, Farhad Ghafarzade, converting diesel cars to run on vegetable oil. Fed up with shops that cut corners and treated customers as an afterthought, he built the kind of shop he wished existed. That's still the idea today: our ASE-certified technicians work on all makes and models, explain what your car needs in plain English, and leave every decision up to you. No scare tactics, no pressure. And as a NAPA AutoCare Center, we back our repairs with a nationwide warranty.
Sustainable Practices, Community Focused
Sustainability has been part of Green Drop since the veggie oil days. Today we're a Certified B Corporation, held to verified standards for how we treat our people, our community, and the planet. In the shop, that means recycling used oil, fluids, scrap metal, batteries, and tires, and offering remanufactured parts when they're as good as new, which saves you money and keeps usable parts out of the landfill.

"For years now I've brought my old Pontiac Vibe and old-ish Model Y to Green Drop and they have been aces. Fantastic crew from front desk to mechanics and techs all the way to the founder. Would and do recommend!"

"AMAZING! Great customer service and they give you a complete breakdown of what is going on with your car with pictures included. They were happy to answer all my questions and did not make me feel dumb or ashamed. Best experience I've had at an auto shop EVER. Highly recommend!"
Carolina C.
"Green Drop is amazing. I’m sure there’s a lot of “good” mechanics in town. But why go with good when you can have great?! This team always follows through and communicates well. Highly recommend this team!"
