JOB DUTIES OF A SERVICE ADVISER

Meet sales goals.

Schedule customers to maximize efficiency.

Greet, acknowledge and establish rapport with customers.

Maintain accountability in communication, actions and repairs performed.

Perform any duties to help maintain shop effectiveness and efficiency.

Maintain clean/organized shop.

 

7.

Produce accurate and clear work orders with accurate parts ordered.

 

8.

Ensure complete and accurate technician work sheets.

 

9.

Maintain appropriate shop ambiance (music, temperature, etc.).

 

10.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and impact of actions on shop environment.

 

11.

Understand how to use point of sale, scheduling, estimating and communication tools.

 

12.

Know each car’s history and how repair improves vehicle condition and customer needs.

 

13.

Ensure proper opening and closing procedures.
